You, baby girl, are two today. I will never forget when you arrived, the doctor telling us you were a girl. I was convinced you were a boy, but secretly hoping you would be a girl. Hoping you would get to grow up with a sister, something I did not have but see the bond sisters have.
You are loving, ornery, and love to be heard.
You have the cutest smile, with the smallest chip in your left front tooth. We have no clue when or where that happened.
You love to dance. I mean, girlfriend, you can really shake your hips.
You love attention. You love to show us your latest gymnastics move, which consists of standing on one foot and raising the other to your side.
You still love to be held. I rock you every night before putting you in bed. You actually tell me, “Sit mama.” So, in the rocking chair we go to sing before I tuck you in.
You sleep with about 3 blankets and 6 stuffed animals every night.
You love anything that belongs to your sister. This makes me fear the future just a tad.
You love candy. Any kind honestly.
You love school, and you love to give your friends hugs.
You love to talk. You talk non-stop. You love to tell your bubby, “no!” But, he is the one that makes you laugh the most. He so tenderly loves you.
You love your bottle (“baba”.) I’m dreading taking this away from you actually.
You have been such a sweet and fun light to our family. We could not imagine it any other way.
We love you so much Nora.
